Orsett Hall

It was maximum 31 minutes drive to the airport.

The breakfast was classic, the check in was early.

The pool area is great too.

Everything was perfect for our purposes, celebrations. The beds where comfy as were the pillows.

The units are immaculate, cosy.

It has amazing and great location in the Spa restaurant.

Beautiful location, very attractive building, and peaceful. Good quality standard of rooms.

My reservation had only been made for 1 night, as opposed to 2 nights that had been booked by Booked.net The staff did not make you feel welcome - slow and unfriendly. Poor lighting in bedrooms.

We were at Orsett Hall for a wedding which was very well organised. The staff were friendly and polite and the food service was efficient and quick. The food was top class. The rooms were clean spacious and comfortable. All round an excellent venue

rooms decorated beautifully very clean and luxurious.

Had to wait till 2.30 for room to be cleaned after arriving at 2pm for check in. Reception very slow had to wait 7-10 days for the test deposit to be refunded.

The spa facilities were amazing, and the body scrub was a highlight!

the function we attended was lovely, food was nicely served and staff efficient.

grab rail was needed in the bathroom for safety ..woud have preffered a duvet to blanket.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms very good.

Bar is not designed for comfort, did not want to sit in as very small!

The hotel grounds are fine, and we had an awesome family meal with live entertainment. The Tribute Night was hella fun and perfect for us, with delicious food and fantastic music that kept everyone happy until late. A great experience for all ages!

In my wife's opinion, the spa staff need to relax their rules. We felt a bit judged about keeping the noise down around the pool, made us uncomfortable. More flexibility would make it easier for families.

Both my wife and I lived local to Orsett for many years ( Emerson Park - Hornchurch ) prior to retiring to Derbyshire . We are therefore quite familiar with Orsett Hall and its history to some degree and the surrounding areas. We found the whole experience very good and met our expectations of the type of overall facility that Orsett Hall represents. I believe that the best comment we would make is that given the circumstances we would not hesitate to use the Hotel again.

I was given an upgrade on arrival to one of the main house rooms. The room was one of the nicest I've stayed in. The furnishings are of a high standard and the bathroom was beautiful with a great shower and nice toiletries. It was easy to drive to and had plenty of parking.

I was extremely disappointed by the breakfast. Service was fairly slow and the room simply had tressle tables with help yourself items (although you can order a cooked breakfast). This included making your own tea or coffee with a teabag in a cup, which I could have done in the room! There was no ambience. Background music or the radio might help. Given the very high quality of the bedroom, this was a letdown.
